Eco at Academy

Our Eco Committee is elected every academic year by the children. Each P3-P7 class chooses a child to represent their class on the Eco Committee. Miss Ross holds regular meetings with the Eco Committee where they plan activities to work on our “Green Flag” targets.

This year our 3 focus targets are:

·       Energy

·       Litter

·       Biodiversity

We also run an Eco Club afterschool. Activities include litter picks, gardening, bug identification and making bird feeders. Eco Club also supports the British Trust for Ornithology with some citizen science by carrying out regular bird and invertebrate surveys.
