As part of our topic "Winter" the children took a short walk along our eco path within the school grounds looking for signs of winter. The afternoon class observed some snow (not as much as they would have liked) while the morning class observed our eco pond covered by a thin layer of ice. They also observed the bare trees and the first shoots of spring (although a little earlier than usual).
