Both P6 classes had a wonderful day at Holy Family today. P6K had the theme of renewable energy. We worked in groups of three to design and make a windmill structure that used solar panels. We had to use paper and mandrels to make strong paper tubes. After punching holes in the ends we connected them together using plastic rivets. Then we attached a motor, propeller and solar panel. It was great fun when we had a chance to see if our windmills worked. Look at our photos.
