P1 had a lovely time meeting some newborn chicks that belonged to a member of our class. It was lovely to see their cute wings, tiny legs and furry bodies. We even got to stroke them and learn about how to be careful and gentle when taking care of animals and how to look after our own hygiene when interacting with animals. It has made us very excited for our trip to the farm!
