P5R/McI N.I. STREET GAMES
21st Sep 2015
P5 are learning all about Northern Ireland. During P.E. the children enjoyed playing traditional street games such as marbles, skipping and hopscotch. We even furthered our hopping and balancing skills by playing the old favourite Eggy Peggy. Skipping proved the most popular activity. The children particularly enjoyed skipping in groups whilst reciting old rhymes such as 'I like coffee, I like tea. I'd like Charlie to skip with me.' We were lucky with the weather too and the children thoroughly enjoy doing their P.E. outdoors.
