Saintfield Development Association in partnership with Choice Housing are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to take part in a free Lantern Making Workshop and a Parade on the night of the Saintfield Christmas Fair.
The details are:
- Free Lantern Making Workshop - Parents can bring their children to one of the workshops either on 18 or 25 November in the Saintfield Community Center, Belfast Road 7 – 9 pm.
- The workshop and parade are open to anyone from age 8 to 13 who lives close to or in Saintfield.
- As places are limited early registration is essential by emailing discoversaintfield@gmail.com before Thursday 14 November 2019
- All children attending a workshop should be available at 7.45 pm on Fair night Friday 6 December at the AYC to collect their lantern and take part in the parade.
- Parents should be available to walk alongside the parade close to their children.
- The Parade route will be up Main Street to the Christmas Tree making a return journey around the square, back to the AYC finishing at 8.15 approximately. The 501 Star Wars battalion and Santa will lead the parade.
- The children will receive a small gift from Santa.
