In P5 we constructed hot air balloons using tissue paper, glue and paper clips. After we made them we used a hair dryer to blow hot air up into the balloons to see how they reacted. We discovered that hot air rises and is less dense than the colder air outside the balloons. We also discovered that the smaller the opening at the bottom of the balloons the higher they rose up into the air.
