Edinburgh 2018 Day 2
We have had a busy day exploring the wonderful, historical city of Edinburgh. The day started with an exciting, informative guided city tour. We learnt about J.K Rowling's early days as an author residing in Edinburgh. The guide also explained the significance of Robert Louis Stevenson and Arthur Conan Doyle in the history of the city. Our tour concluded with a visit to the spectacular Edinburgh Castle. We then went to Dynamic Earth and travelled back in time to the Ice Age, Bronze Age and learnt about animals and their habitats. The day ended on a high with the witchery tour in which poor Mrs Martin was tortured with thumb screws and Mrs Dickson's hand was amputated! All in all ....a great day!
