We had a fantastic day today at Blair Drummond Park today. We had a bus tour around the safari park coming within a metre of lions, giraffes and monkeys (one of which decided to land on the roof of the bus)! We also had a boat ride along the lake to see chimpanzees. There was a great sea lion show and birds of prey demonstration and of course, no trip is complete without mental maths and problem solving activities in the gift shop.
The day ended with a game of ten pin bowling and the best two top scoring children won a trophy!
Everyone is currently safely tucked in bed, exhausted and ready for the homeward journey tomorrow!
